Resource Depot is one of the Buildings in Frostpunk.

Acquisition[ | ]

Resource Depot is available from the start, can be built from Resources tab.

Description[ | ]

Resource Depots increase storage capacity of all resources apart from Steam Cores and Prosthetics. Only one type of resource may be stored in each depot. Depots are not manned and suffer no penalty from being unheated, regardless of stored contents. The storage designation of depots may be changed at will, should the current resources stockpile exceed the newly reduced storage limit however the resources will be lost.

Each Resource Depot can be chosen to store either 900 Coal, 300 Wood, 300 Steel, 300 Raw Food or 300 Food Rations.

Abilities[ | ]

none

Upgrades[ | ]

Notes[ | ]

The cost in The Last Autumn is halved (20 Wood, 10 Steel).

Trivia[ | ]

  • The building will have a random appearance selected when placed. Some of the appearances include: Barrels and a crane, two rooms, a bridge with one room, a bridge with a crane, one room and a cloth covering a crate (tent-like) (at least 5 options). The appearance may slightly change when any type of resource is assigned to add barrels or crates, but this is not dependent on the resource type and is not affected by the storage level - all resources will look the same at all levels of capacity.
