Save the Children (Arc)

Save the Children is an event arc in The Fall of Winterhome.

Young and fragile[edit | edit source]

This arc begins during the evacuation.

Sir, a doctor who tended to our children during the journey north is here to talk to you about their evacuation.

"The youngest ones should be evacuated to the Dreadnought immediately - the conditions here will only get worse and we can't take risks with their health."

You have the following options:

  • We can't afford it: Hope will fall greatly
  • I will send the youngest children: You will have 5 days to send 50 children to the Dreadnought Hope will rise slightly
  • I will send all the children: You will have 5 days to send all the children to the Dreadnought. Hope will rise.

If you chose "We can't afford it," no more events will trigger.

Little amputees[edit | edit source]

If you have child amputees and opt to send at least some children, this event will trigger.

Sir, a doctor is here to see you. He wants to speak with you about the child amputees.

"Some of our children had to undergo amputations and won't survive the perilous journey to the Dreadnought. To evacuate them, we have to provide them with Prostheses

  • I'll see to it

The children are safe[edit | edit source]

If you chose "I will send the youngest children" and succeed before 5 days, this event will trigger.

Sir, the youngest children have been evacuated to the Dreadnought.

You have the following options:

  • I'm glad to hear it

The children are still not safe[edit | edit source]

If you chose "I will send the youngest children" but fail after 5 days, this event will trigger.

Sir, the youngest children still haven't been evacuated to the Dreadnought, despite your promise.

"I'm really worried about their health," says the doctor. "Some of them might not survive the coming cold."

You have the following options:

  • I see

All the children are safe[edit | edit source]

If you chose "I will send all the children" and succeed before 5 days, this event will trigger.

Sir, all the children have been evacuated to the Dreadnought. People are relieved to know that the kids are safe and everyone has put themselves to work with greater determination.

You have the following options:

  • I'm glad to hear it: Work efficiency rises by 10%

Some of the children aren't safe[edit | edit source]

If you chose "I will send all the children" and fail after 5 days, this event will trigger.

Sir, the deadline has passed and some of the children still haven't been evacuated to the Dreadnought, despite your promise. People worry about the children's safety and are struggling to put their hearts into their work.

You have the following options:

  • I see: Work efficiency falls by 10%

All the children are finally safe[edit | edit source]

If you chose "I will send all the children" but initially failed the quest, this event will trigger after you send all the children.

Sir, all the children have finally been evacuated to the Dreadnought. People are no longer worried about the children's safety and have returned to work with renewed energy.

  • I'm glad to hear that: Work efficiency returns to normal
