Child Shelter - A note of thanks

A note of thanks[ | ]

This event will trigger after you build a child shelter.

We just wanted to thank you. Back in London, it was only the wealthy that didn't have to send their kids to work. In this new world you're creating we can see things'll be different.

You have one option:

  • It was the right thing to do: hope will rise slightly.

Notes[ | ]

Child Shelters gives you access to the potentially very powerful Apprentice laws, as well as a permanent Hope bonus should you have enough shelters for all children. However, while it is unquestionably the nicer option, Child Shelters themselves take up quite a bit of space, especially if you wind up with hundreds of children in your city. Cities with smaller build areas may have to make hard decisions.
